A Little Welcome Message

Brazil, guide, blog, how to, videos, living, life, portugueseFala galera!

So, as you can see this website is hot off the press and undergoing some modifications and changes (for the better of course!).

And if you’ve read the “About Me” and “Start Here” pages, you will be aware of the intentions of this website and who I am.

But I would like to tell you a bit about where I am planning to go with this blog itself!

Here is what I have for you

I really would like to emphasize this: my intention is to take your feedback, comments, ideas and true needs, mix it with my (and our community’s) experience and wisdom.  Then I will take this bowl full of goodness, pour it into a baking pan, pop it into the oven on medium for 40 minutes and “presto!”, a fresh, tasty and value filled blog post!

But seriously…I really don’t want to waste your time, I’ve wasted too much of my own time wandering around the net looking for info.

I don’t want this blog to be one of those classic space wasters.

You know, where it’s just full of my thoughts and feelings – folks, this isn’t expositionism! (although behind the screen who knows what I have on??)

I promise you that I will do everything in my power to keep posts as relevant, on key, updated and value-filled as possible!

I also promise to present you with a meeting spot that will always have room for you, will help you and guide you in your transition in moving to and living in Brazil

Here is what the blog will do for you

These blogs (and guides and how-to’s) will help you avoid wasting your time looking and searching for relevant info.

They will guide you specifically in solving your Brazil related problems, answering your questions and inspiring you.

They will make your life easier and funner!

Here’s is what I want you to do

I hereby formally and officially invite you to barge right in and tell me what you would like to see on this site!

After all, this site is for you!

Example: “tell me what the process in buying a car is and how to do it step by step!”

or

“Kevin, I need to know how to extend my tourist visa: tell me step by step how to do it, where to go, and how to print that piece of paper online which is all in Portuguese!”

I am here to serve you and make your life easier, call on me to do so πŸ™‚

Just click on the “Contact Me” button on the top of the page to do so.

As a final note

Since this website is made and intended to be for you, it depends on you.

Therefore I would like to invite and and ecourage you to “Like” this page on Facebook, like these posts and spread the word.

Looking forward!

Cheers, all the best and share the love πŸ™‚

Kevin

  • I got a question from Maverick where he writes

“How is it there in Brazil?
Its good to be able to speak to someone who is right where I want to be!

Whats the economy like if you don’t mind me asking?

I want to work in Sao Paulo, and enjoy a lot of my time in Rio de Janeiro πŸ™‚ but there is so much to see and explore in Brazil!”

I thought that I might answer it here for everyones benefit (with his permission of course).

In Brazil it is awesome and layed back, the people are wonderful and scenery breathtaking – I love it! It is winter right now so the south side is a bit chilly but get’s warmer the higher up you go.

The Brazilian economy is growing more than ever, this is mostly due to the fact that they are little affected by the worldwide financial crisis. I once read somewhere that Brazil has really good connections with China and many other developing countries. The experts say that the developing countries is where it’s at (or going to be), they are up on the rise and the developed countries are on the fall.

In Brazil, there is an ever growing middle class, property prices are rising and there is an overall rosy outlook on the future to come with tons of growth!

I hope that answers your question!

    Valeu!
    Kevin

    • Thanks Kevin!

I’ve done my research in the meantime as well, and your response is completely right πŸ™‚

I definitely have my eyes set on Brazil, all I want to do now is get my Portuguese from zero to hero status in the shortest amount of time possible.

      Chat again soon!

      Adios Amigo!

  • My pleasure πŸ™‚

Funny you mention that as I am putting the finishing touches on an ebook exactly about that! Let you know when I’m finished!
